Virtual Audio Visual, LLC ("VAV," "we," "us," or "our") operates virtualaudiovisual.com (the "Site") and develops software products for audio-visual professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are committed to collecting only what we need and treating it with care.

Information We Collect

From the Site. The Site is a static marketing site. We do not require accounts, do not run third-party analytics, and do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Our web host may keep standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user-agent) for security and uptime monitoring; these logs are retained for a limited period and not used to build profiles of visitors.

Web fonts. The Site loads typography from Google Fonts, which means Google may receive your IP address and basic request information when a page loads. Their handling is governed by Google's privacy policy.

From our software products. Some of our products (such as Atomic and Megamix) may collect information necessary to operate, license, and improve the product — for example, license-key validation, anonymous crash reports, or update checks. Each product communicates its own data practices in its in-app information and accompanying documentation. We do not sell personal information from our products.

From purchases. Purchases of our software are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. When you buy a product, Lemon Squeezy handles payment, billing, and tax compliance, and shares with us only the information needed to fulfill your order and provide support (such as your name, email address, and order details). Payment card details are handled by Lemon Squeezy and its payment processors — we do not receive or store them.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to operate and secure the Site, deliver and support the software you purchase, validate licenses, respond to inquiries you send us, and communicate with you about your order, support requests, or material changes to our products. We do not use your information for behavioral advertising and do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers we rely on to operate the business — for example, Lemon Squeezy for payment processing, email and hosting providers, and similar vendors — and only to the extent they need it to do their job for us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To exercise these rights, email us at admin@virtualaudiovisual.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Data Retention & Security

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it to operate the business, provide our products, and meet our legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our products and the Site are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

International Visitors

VAV is based in the United States. If you access the Site or our products from outside the U.S., you understand that information you provide may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page; we encourage you to review the policy periodically.
